Due to the outstanding success of the first Tunnels and Underground Construction India event held last November, we will be holding this event for a second year running in New Delhi, India, from 12th - 14th December 2011.
When the Indian government announced further investment in infrastructure in their 12th five year plan, substantial growth further grew in the planning of tunnels and underground projects within the rail, road, sewage and hydropower sectors.
This has resulted in an unprecedented demand for leading-edge technology and a greater demand to learn from world-class experts in the field of tunnelling.
As we approach the end of the 11th Plan and enter into the first year of the 12th five year plan the next few months are a criticial time to distinguish how we can improve and learn from the past.
