BACKGROUND

Ricolda Investments (Private) Limited trading as MRGSM Construction Company was registered in Zimbabwe in terms of the Companies Act (Chapter 24:03). It was established in June 2004 and the company's financial year-end is 31 December. The Organization's main line of business is that of providing the much-needed work of construction of commercial buildings; residential houses; bridges; renovations and maintenance. The service it renders range from the refurbishment of existing buildings to the design of innovative and technically challenging high rising buildings.

ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS

MRGSM like any other enterprising business has set itself challenges in the form of short term, medium term and long term organizational goals within a short period of trading. The Company ...has managed to satisfactory achieve its short-term goal namely to be recognized as a force within the construction industry.

It has set itself a long term goal of becoming one of the largest and best construction company in Zimbabwe. Also on the drawing board is the intention to sell the service across the national boarders. Preliminary contract have so far been made in countries like Botswana and Mozambique.

The main objective of this company is to achieve profitability by constructing buildings, which conform to specified requirements. Quality is a management function, and is a way of thinking which will influence the work of every employee. All personnel within the organization are required to perform their duties in compliance with the company procedures to ensure customer * management is required to establish and maintain standing and procedures to insure that the work for which they are responsible meets required standards.
