General product information

High-strength ultralam(TM) is a product manufactured by gluing multiple layers of dried veneer (~3,2 mm) into a large billet, is the number one wood-based building material for load-bearing structures. Types of Ultralam are:
Ulralam R - Most effective in supporting structural elements. The grain runs in the same direction in all the layers of veneer. This type is suitable for load beams,
flanges in I-joists, Lintels for doors and windows, concrete forming etc.
Ultralam X - About 20% of veneers in the billet have crossply position. This significantly increases the permissible side loading, stability of shape and rigidity. Mainly is applicable for wall panels, floor supports, concrete forming.
Ultralam I - Effective as bearing element for reduced loads as studs and partition walls. The grain runs in the same direction in all the layers of veneer.
